About Our Parish

Directions

St. Aloysius Parish (church and Parish Center) is located approximately one mile northeast of downtown Spokane, with twin spires easily recognized from I-90.  The church is on the southeast corner of Boone Ave. and Astor St.; the Parish Center, on the southwest corner.

You can use the following directions or click here; GET MAP

     From the North:  Travel south on Division to Sharp Ave.; turn left at the light, go three blocks to Astor St., turn right one block.  The church is easily visible from Division St..

     From the South:  Travel north across the Spokane River on Division (which veers slightly into Ruby, a one-way street) to Sharp Ave.  Go two blocks east to Astor St.  and right one block to the church, easily visible.

     From I-90:  Take the Hamilton exit (#282), go north to Sharp Ave. (approximately 1 mile); left at the light; five blocks, then left on Astor St.; one block to the church.

     Parking:  The parish parking lot is located behind the Parish Center with access from Boone Ave.  On-street parking, with reserved spaces for the handicapped, is available on Astor St.  For weekend liturgies, parking is allowed in the Gonzaga University main lot in front of the GU administration building.

     Spokane Transit:  From the downtown Spokane Transit Plaza, take route #26 to stop at corner of Sharp Ave. and Astor St., one block from the church.
