Confirmation / First Eucharist 
2008-2009

Registration was completed in September for children in grades 2 - 3 whose parents wish to present them for completion of the Sacraments of Initiaiton:  Confirmation and First Eucharist.
Confirmation and First Eucharist will be celebrated at St. Aloysius
on February 22, 2009.

Registration dates for sacramental preparation (grades 2 - 3) for
2009 will be announced through the weekly parish bulletin
in late August - early September.

The family-based sacramental preparation process offers the whole family
a special opportunity for deepening faith, building relationships
with other families in the parish community,
and refreshing appreciation of God's gift of Baptism.

Preparation for sacramental initiation
is primarily the work of parents, with the parish community
supporting the on-going efforts in the home.  Children attending
Catholic elementary schools find reinforcement and support
for their sacramental preparation, but it is within the parish
faith community that the immediate preparation
 and the celebration take place.
