Founded in 1890, the St. Aloysius Parish Community has continued a mission of faith for over a century. The church’s twin spires can be seen from many points throughout the city, inspiring people throughout the Spokane area with confidence of God’s abiding presence among us.

St. Aloysius Parish (Church and Parish Center) is located approximately one mile northeast of downtown Spokane, with twin spires easily recognized from I-90. The church is on the southeast corner of Boone Ave. and Astor St.; the Parish Center, on the southwest corner.
The parish has two parking lots. The first is between the church and the parish center with reserved spaces for the handicapped. The second is located behind the parish center accessed by a grey brick drive to the north. For weekend liturgies, parking is allowed in the Gonzaga University main lot in front of the GU administration building.
Traveling from north or south?
From the North: Travel south on Division to Sharp Ave.; turn left at the light, go three blocks to Astor St., turn right one block. The church is easily visible from Division St..
From the South: Travel north across the Spokane River on Division (which veers slightly into Ruby, a one-way street) to Sharp Ave. Turn right and go two blocks east to Astor St. and right one block to the church, easily visible.
From I-90: Take the Hamilton exit (#282), go north to Sharp Ave. (approximately 1 mile); left at the light; five blocks, then left on Astor St.; one block to the church.
Spokane Transit: From the downtown Spokane Transit Plaza, take route #25 (North Division) to Boone and walk from Ruby going east, catching the walking mall to the GU campus and St. Aloysius.
