St. Aloysius Parish’s Altar Society

altar-society-officers

The Altar Society meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month.

We begin with Mass at 11:30 in the church followed by a sack lunch and  meeting in O’Malley Hall below the church.

All women are invited to our monthly meetings. Speakers and Entertainment are provided at most of our meetings as well as Mass at the beginning of the meeting. The Altar Society in St. Aloysius Parish was formed the first year that St. Aloysius was in existence.

We are community

Things don’t happen unless we make them happen…such as:

  • Funeral receptions for families and friends who need us in their time of grief. (Can you make a dish or give up a few hours to host a funeral reception once or twice a year?)
  • Bake sales, Card Parties, and Cookbooks that pay for little things like hosts, wine, altar cloths, etc.
and BIG things like a new refrigerator in O’Malley Hall, stained glass windows, priests chasubles, etc.

Could you give a $5 yearly donation to the Altar Society or  bake for a bake sale to support these most needed and  basic necessities of our parish life?

If so, call Mary Kay for more information, 509 487- 4632.
