Ministry to the Sick and Homebound
Eucharistic ministers bring communion and parish presence to
parishioners, confined to home or nursing facility, unable to join us in
community worship. If a home visit is needed on occasional or long-term
basis, contact Shareen
Elloy: 313-7007 If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic
Minister to the homebound, call Shareen for information. Training is
provided. Ministers usually visit once a week at times arranged
according to the health and circumstances of the homebound individual and
the personal schedule needs of the minister. Eucharistic
ministry to the homebound offers the opportunity to bring the love and
caring of the parish community and to share the Body of Christ with the
sick, the suffering, the lonely. |
