Youth Ministry
St. Aloysius Parish recognizes the meaningful contributions of young
people in the life of church and society. St. Al's Youth Ministry
seeks to include all teens and pre-teens in parish life and activity in
whatever ways their family responsibilities, their interests and their
personal commitments allow. They are linked with one another through
the on-going communication (e-mail roster, interactive web page [under
construction)] other communication resources) and are united through active
participation in weekend parish liturgy. Rather than a single "Youth
Group" limited to kids who can attend a weekly evening meeting, St. Al's
Youth belong by being part of a parish-wide network that welcomes all young
men and women and encourages their participation in any aspect of parish
life. Each year's Youth Ministry agenda is built around the needs and
resources, including adult leadership and support, provided by the parish
and inter-parish communities. Some of the ways Junior and

(e.g. leaf raking for the elderly, 24-hr Famine, etc)
Extended or on-going volunteer/service projects
(e.g. Sunday Pre-School aides, Children's Liturgy of the Word,
technology support, tutoring, etc.)
