Charity and Service Opportunities

Opportunities for Involvement 

  • Monthly Collection for the Poor – A monthly collection is taken after Masses to assist the Cahtolic Charities Emergency Fund, a local non-profit and the Parish Emergency Assistance Fund.
  • House of Charity Lunch – Once a month, volunteers serve lunch to homeless and poor people at the House of Charity. Contacts: Dan and Betty Devine (509) 928-6854; 
  • Family Promise of Spokane – Quarterly volunteers provide meals, overnight hospitality and love to homeless children and their families. Contact: Ellen Peters;; (509) 868-8250.
  • Partnership with Salvation Army (May Food Drive) Month long food drive benefitting S.A.
  • Partnership with Our Place Community Ministries (Sept. Hygiene Drive) Month long hygiene items drive benefitting O.P.C.M.
  • Free Thanksgiving Dinner for the community
